SARATOGA SPRINGS - Master Planning
CLAY COUNTY, FLORIDA
As the planner, architect, and landscape architect for Saratoga Springs, ELM has been entrusted with shaping the community from its earliest vision through the design of its signature amenities. The 2,240-acre master-planned community in Clay County, Florida, is being developed by Freehold Communities as an agrihood that brings residential neighborhoods, agriculture, recreation, and open space together. Designed to pair modern community living with agricultural sustainability, Saratoga Springs offers a distinctive approach to residential design and community building.
The master plan includes five thoughtfully designed neighborhoods anchored by multiple working farms, along with miles of interconnected walking trails, parks, and expansive community amenities. The farms will produce fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers for residents while supporting food-share programs, a neighborhood store, and opportunities for community participation.
Located within one of North Florida’s growing corridors, Saratoga Springs is positioned to benefit from improved regional connectivity through the First Coast Expressway, providing convenient access to Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and surrounding communities.
