Treehouse trails opens at julington creek plantation

The first phase of Julington Creek Plantation’s $34-million reinvestment is complete with the opening of Treehouse Trails, a reimagined Community Park designed by ELM.

Adjacent to the larger Aquatics facility, which is presently under construction, children ages 2–12 are encouraged to engage with nature and express creativity through thoughtfully integrated play. A multi-level treehouse, toddler play sets, an embankment slide, and accessible pathways are woven into bold landforms and mature landscape, while natural materials, locally sourced boulders, and native plantings completely integrate the concepts of "park" and "play". Designed to be inclusive and ADA-accessible, the commitment to wellness, adventure, and experiential play is integral to the design of all aspects of the park and project.

This milestone sets the stage for the next chapter: the Aquatics Amenity, which is under construction and scheduled for completion later this year. Together, the full project transforms the previous park and amenity into a beautiful, cohesive, community-centered destination for residents to gather, explore, and enjoy.
