tRIBUTARY

ELM | Ervin Lovett Miller provided planning and design services for a luxury amenity center at Tributary, a riverfront master planned community in Nassau County, Florida. Dubbed ‘The Lookout’, this community hub features a resort-style organic pool with a spacious sundeck, a bar with covered patio, and kid-friendly water elements. Additional features include an indoor café, standalone fitness center, kid’s Adventure Zone, dog park, and a Pickleball court. 

Several architectural choices were made to infuse river-life into the design and define a strong ‘sense of place’. Buildings were oriented to highlight the evergreen vista and the amenity center itself is positioned right on the water’s edge. ‘The Landing’, a kayak and canoe park, will allow direct access to watersports, further taking advantage of Tributary’s natural setting. The project’s masterplan was refined to create a series of connections between neighborhoods, open spaces, and the river, creating a pedestrian network across the 1,500-acre site.
