Neptune Beach Plaza West, designed for TLM Realty Corp., is an 18-acre commercial development in Neptune Beach, Florida, that has been transformed through ELM’s comprehensive planning and design efforts. Positioned along Atlantic Boulevard and flanked by a Publix shopping center and Phase 2 development, this site presented a unique opportunity for revitalization. ELM’s task was to reimagine Neptune Beach Plaza West as a walkable commercial village, with a focus on expanding retail shops and restaurants, centered around a Publix anchored renovation.

ELM’s involvement encompassed various stages of the project, from initial planning concepts to the final schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction observation. The renovation’s scope was broad, covering architectural, structural, electrical, and landscape architectural services. Central to this redevelopment was the façade and site renovations. ELM remained involved in the construction observation phase to ensure that each aspect of the renovation contributed to the overarching vision of creating a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly commercial hub.

The completion of Neptune Beach Plaza West marks a significant enhancement to the local commercial landscape. The Publix Grocery store, along with the newly developed commercial spaces, are now occupied and thriving, testament to the success of the redevelopment. The transformation of Neptune Beach Plaza West into a bustling commercial village not only revitalizes the area but also serves as a model for community-centric commercial development.
